Monthly Programs
Each month throughout the year, the Fort Bend County Master Gardeners host experts in various gardening fields who share their secrets and tips. The subjects range from outdoor train sets to water garden design, from rose care to snake identification, and from fruit tree suggestions to butterfly gardens.
Most of the programs are held on the third Thursday of each month and begin at 7:15 p.m. Programs usually last one hour but occasionally, due to the depth or complexity of the subject, the speaker needs two hours on that topic. Be sure to check our calendar for the topic of the month.
The evening begins with a social time that will give you an opportunity to meet some of our Master Gardeners. Upon the conclusion of the program, our Master Gardeners hold their monthly meeting. You are invited to remain if you desire.
All of our programs are presented in the Bud O'Shieles Community Center, 1330 Band Road, Rosenberg, 77471 unless otherwise noted. And all of our programs are open to the public.
There is NO CHARGE for these programs!
