Monthly Gardening Tasks - NovemberVegetables Vegetables that mature quickly can still be planted this month. Radishes, Turnips, Lettuce, Mustard and Arugula Flowers Set out Pansies, Sweet Alyssum, Poppies, Violas, Snapdragons. You can still add Pansies, Snapdragons, Pink and Flowering Cabbage in a sunny location. Plant Daffodils, Hyacinths, Tulips, Ranunculus and Anemones. Tulip and Hyacinth bulbs must be refrigerated for four to six weeks, before planting them. Divide Daylilies, Shasta, Oxeye Daisies, Purple Coneflower Stop feeding your roses this month, but continue watering once a week, if it does not rain. Fruits You can plant Sequoia, Tangi and Douglas strawberries the first of November. Plant Dorsett and/or Anna Apple trees, plant at least one of each variety so they will pollinate one another.
